The Gallery Café is located in a unique architectural space at the National Gallery of Ireland. We were tasked with designing a complete re-brand for the Café to better reflect it’s core values of creating simple, honest, delicious food with fresh and tasty local ingredients. The challenge was to represent the café as a stand alone destination while also reflecting it’s unique location in one of Ireland’s most important cultural institutions.

We created a simple elegant logotype that fitted with the existing branding of the National Gallery and added warm splashes of colour and loose brush-stroke graphic devices to reflect creativity. The colour palette is simple, warm and inviting, brand messaging is clear and direct and all imagery used depicts natural, fresh, local produce. We were successful in creating an inviting, warm, wholesome brand that has its own strong visual identity while being sympathetic to its artistic surroundings.
