This was a collaborative project, designed over a two-week period by Axel McHugh and Eric Lynch, it was overseen by tutors from the Visual Communication Design programme, at IADT. The brief required the design of a flexible identity for the Graduate Exhibition of 2015.
A key consideration required the signage system to be cost-effective and easy to implement across the college campus.
We achieved this by designing ‘slap-up’ style, vinyl signage—smaller call-to-action speech bubbles reinforced the message.
The identity was well received—footfall for the graduate exhibition increased on the previous year, growing from 750 to 1400 visitors for the opening night.
