The new IADT website is a comprehensive mobile friendly, scalable platform that allows the institute to engage with it’s target audience, quickly and effectively in the highly competitive third level education sector.
In order to effectively manage the scale of the project it was divided into a number of stages from research and testing of the existing system, an interim microsite, the rollout of the new site and planned future developments.
As a result a key requirement of the project was to build a system that could be easily administered by in-house staff as well being expandable over time.
The website design is bound together in a rigid layout that brings order and consistency to the content while at the same time allowing room for the asymmetry and level of expression appropriate for a creatively led institution.
In order to aid the navigation of the new website we created a set of 50+ custom drawn icons and pictograms to illustrate many of the activities and services offered by IADT.
