MK-A Branding (2015)

We were asked to create an identity for Scottish based architect Marc Kilkenny. Marc works across a diverse range of projects and his style is modern, contemporary and geometric. This style informed our thinking, leading us to the decision to build a dynamic and adaptable grid within which his logo could adapt and change. As an architect everything starts with a line, so we used this thinking along with his initials MKA to create a modular and dynamic logo system. This was carried across stationary and signage using materials like copper foil to reflect Marc's appreciation and use of craft materials.
