The National Gallery of Ireland is dedicated to bringing people and art together. In 2017, the National Gallery reopened to the public following a major refurbishment of its historic wings. The 2017 Annual Report celebrates the reopening of the National Gallery and documents a year of events, exhibitions and visitor experiences.

Photographer Conor O’Leary was invited to document and capture portraits of gallery visitors in the first ten days after the reopening, a significant and exciting time in the history of the National Gallery. These portraits were then used for the cover of the Annual Report.
