It's a pretty strange time for everyone out there and making a list of things to do and see might be a little bit trivial. That said, our friends at Revert gave it a shot, and hopefully it can help us get through the long days at home be it alone, or with family and kids. 

EVENTS
These include things to do as a family, as many of us are at home with kids at the moment!

Collage workshop for adults
Get your collage on this evening (Thursday 2 April) at 8pm with Sorcha O'Higgins.

Dabbledoo Music
Online resource teaching kids how to play music used in schools and giving parents FREE access until schools return. They also do a good radio show on Dublin Digital Radio, here's one on the blues.

Irish Museums Online
Irish Museums Online are curating a fantastic list of content from museums around Ireland. Including virtual tours, podcasts, online exhibitions, activities.

The Ark @ Home
The Ark has put together an ever-changing programme of streamed performances, virtual projects and hands-on art activities for children and families (new additions announced each Monday).

Inside Out is a new alternative online programme, where people of all ages can learn more about art and artists from their homes. As part of this exciting initiative, we will present a range of creative activities for children on our website each week.

I know everyone is saying and doing it but honestly sowing seeds and seeing things grow is really good for the mind, body and soul. A great resource for this is the Grow Your Own website and TV show. They have a really brilliant website of videos, daily challenges, reading and also seeds to buy. Well worth checking out.

Sourdough 
Love baking but want a challenge? Get your starters at the ready and start baking. Plus why pop to the shops when you can make your own bread?

Duolingo
Want to brush up on the gaeilge? Or start learning a new language? Duolingo offers a wide selection of languages to learn through a fun and game like experience. 

Relax 
This may sound strange considering the world we are in, but in these uncertain times, take time to switch off, turn off the news and social media and breathe. It’ll do you the world of good and take solace in the fact that we are all in this together!
