We’ve developed a visual identity system and website for CaneCo in Grenada. They are a new agri services company created to propagate, cultivate and farm superior sugar cane for Renegade Rum Distillery. The brief was to engage Grenadians to either become sugar cane farmers or to lease their land for the farming of sugar cane. Our approach was to create a modern direction for the brand identity, avoiding the well trodden Caribbean cliches and negative history of cane production in the region. The work has been applied across stationery, vehicles, signage and website. The project has gained a huge response with 300 acres identified, 150 acres cleared and planted and 50 acres in preparation. The scope of the project also warranted a mention in the budget speech for Grenada.
