Déanta is a new furniture production company. With products designed to be sustainable, identifiable and timeless. With a focus on design that tethers aesthetics and character to materials and the making process.

Products aren’t mass produced and in many cases are individually numbered and signed by the designer. The stories of the designers, makers and materials are important to the genesis of the products and there is a wider agenda to keep trade skills alive by utilising craft techniques and therefore giving them a new relevance.

Our D logo was conceived as a punched mark. Whether on copper plate presentation stands, communication materials or on the products themselves to denote the maker. The core communication suite was printed on paper made from waste beer product, with the natural speckle forming an integral part of the overall design. The site allows for product hero shots, specifications as well as information on the makers and the making process.
