An initiative by Access Cinema, a resource organisation for regional cultural cinema exhibition and the Japanese Embassy to promote Japanese cinema and culture nationwide. The festival started in 2008 with just 2 films in 3 location and has grown to 20 films in seven location nationwide.
The identity was designed to be flexible enough to incorporate the growth of the festival and simple enough to be applied across a range of promotional material.
