Dublin designer Gavin Feiritéar has transformed a traffic-light control box into a giant cassette mixtape as part of the Dublin Canvas project. Accompanied on the back of the design is a playlist which is inspired by the city itself.

The mixtape features a selection of songs by artists from all over Ireland that puts one in mind of Dublin and the people that make its heart beat. The playlist has been made available on Spotify so that anyone who visits the artwork can plug in their headphones and walk the streets with a soundtrack inspired by the city itself.

The Dublin Canvas project has allowed artists to brighten up the city by painting street boxes designated by Dublin City Council. The artwork can be found on the corner of Wexford Street and Kevin Street, a stone’s throw from the iconic Whelan's music venue in Dublin.
