The 100 Archive has been invited to participate in Melba, a design festival in Sofia, Bulgaria! An annual festival presenting exhibitions, workshops and discursive events over the course of a number of days, Melba also features a hybrid symposium on Saturday 13 November. Alongside German designer and educator Claudia Schwartz, OFFFest founder Héctor Ayuso, Bulgarian illustrator Mila Lozanova, Czech studio Herrmann & Coufal and Polish practitioner Patryk Hardziej, the 100 Archive will zoom in to discuss how we present, discuss and contextualise Irish design, including our Map Irish Design project. We are participating with the support of the Irish Embassy in Sofia and we can't wait to share our work!
The symposium takes place online on Saturday 13 November from 9am–3pm Irish time (11am–5pm Bulgarian time) and tickets are available here for €10/€13.
