The Three Year Review celebrated and reported on almost every aspect of the life at the Abbey Theatre – from financial facts and figures to extensive lists of every person to have worked on the 1,324 performances in that time.
A coherent typographic system helped to parse out dense information for each show and talk. The gridded cover, while seemingly rigid, allowed for interesting moments of play between adjoining images. To be cost effective the interior starts in two colour, but blooms into full colour to celebrate the diversity and range of the featured productions.
