Architects for the Birds

Architects for the Birds featured ten of the world’s leading architects as they explored the possibilities of a more intimate architectural challenge. Working to an open brief, each architect designed and made a unique birdhouse or bird feeder. The final works were displayed in Christie's, London, and sold to raise funds for the Teassa Jowell Foundation.

Zero-G designed a simple identity for the project based on the classic forms of the circle, square and triangle. These elements were combined to create simple motifs of a bird and a birdhouse, and were brought to life across a range of materials, including an exhibition catalogue, invitations and projections.

The project featured the works by David Chipperfield, Frida Escobedo, Norman Foster, Sou Fujimoto, Grafton, Lina Ghotmeh, Jacques Herzog, Farshid Moussavi, Renzo Piano, and Kazuyo Sejima.
