Science Gallery Dublin’s 50th and final landmark exhibition 'BIAS' is an interactive temporary exhibition aimed at 15–25-year-olds that opened in October 2021 and ran through to January 2022. The exhibition featured the work of Irish and international artists, scientists and designers exploring human preferences, machine-learning prejudices and digital equity. The exhibition design was inspired by green screen technologies and their role in constructing a range of ‘realities’. For BIAS, the gallery was transformed into an entirely chroma key green immersive environment and communicated that there is no space, digital or physical, that is not a construct, even the gallery itself. The exhibition was supported by AI Lab, Accenture, Ars Electronica and The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and The ADAPT Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology.
