Birch Cabins is a new hospitality venture set within the historic Florida Manor estate in Northern Ireland. The challenge was to craft a brand identity that could honour the estate’s centuries-old heritage while positioning the cabins as a premium, design-led retreat for modern travellers. We were tasked with balancing the tranquillity of the natural woodland setting and the expectation of contemporary luxury. The brief called for a holistic brand scheme that could extend seamlessly across signage, digital platforms, and printed collateral.

The idea was to create a refined, nature-driven identity that would capture the essence of mindful travel, convey authenticity through materiality and tone, and establish Birch Cabins as a distinctive new entrant in Ireland’s luxury hospitality landscape. At the heart of the brand is a visual system inspired by the surrounding birch woodlands and the estate’s enduring architecture. A clean, elegant word mark communicates confidence and simplicity, while an earthy colour palette reflects the landscape in every season. Typography was chosen for its balance of sophistication and warmth, creating a voice that feels considered but approachable.

The interior design was also completed in-house at Crown Creative - making this project a truly holistic, start-to-finish hospitality design deep dive for the studio.
