Café Sol has a well-established and recognisable identity. So when we were asked to create a sub-identity and packaging for their new ‘Food to Go’ range, we wanted to create something that would have its own personality but was also mindful of the brand hierarchy. We developed a solution that is fresh, approachable and stands out in an already saturated market.

The new range includes sandwiches, salad boxes, juices, snacks, bars and water. One of our main priorities was to ensure the aesthetic could grow alongside the range as more products were introduced annually. We created an expandable set of geometric patterns and paired them with a vivid colour palette to help establish a coherent design system that could be applied to each new product. A selection of icons, for specific callouts, was also created to reinforce the friendly and accessible tone of the range.

We worked with a food stylist and art-directed a set of product shots for the launch of the new range, for in-store adverts and social channels.
