Corbin Local Wildlife runs a free snake relocation service in Tobago, but many people didn’t know it existed. When snakes appeared, fear often led to them being attacked — often left disabled and unable to survive in the wild after losing their strike, their hunting and defence mechanism. Farmers were also reporting increasing rodent problems as snake populations declined. The Call Corbin campaign focused on making the service visible, trusted and easy to use in the moment.

Using behavioural design methods, we created short, action-oriented messaging designed for stress: Stay calm, stay back, call Corbin. The campaign was inspired by a bold, business-card-sized mental health info card we spotted in a local fruit shop — small, eye-catching and built around a clear call to action. To build trust, we used the face of the co-founder, Roy, as a familiar anchor for the campaign, making it clear who to call and reinforcing that help was close by.

We delivered a connected set of physical and digital touchpoints: mini flyers with QR codes, a dedicated webpage with the campaign video and step-by-step guidance and graphic snake stickers for cars, machetes and cooler boxes. Each touchpoint was designed to be easy to share, quick to understand and usable in the moments it mattered most. Early feedback suggests more calls about snakes, pointing to growing awareness and safer outcomes for both people and wildlife.
