Creative Island is an important asset for DCCoI and Showcase. It acts as a platform for emerging and established makers and brands, creating impact by bringing them together and helping them sharpen their business and brand. It also provides a focal point for retailers. A stamp of approval from DCCoI, and insight into the exciting brands and products for the year ahead.
In developing the exhibition and publication this year, we wanted to highlight the annual nature of the initiative and deliver a publication that was useful to buyers throughout the year. We streamlined the maker directory, putting focus on the products. To this we added a series of themed still lives, grouping products in a way relevant to buyers and providing ideas for how it might be styled and presented for sale.
