Dance Ireland is our national organisation for dance, working hard to advance the standing and opportunities for the art form while celebrating its vibrant community and welcoming more people into the world of dance.

With strategy by our sister agency Wove we developed a brand identity in close collaboration with the organisation. Dance Ireland required a platform that would allow them to communicate with the authority commensurate with a national organisation, while seamlessly connecting to a more inclusive and expressive voice for day-to-day communications and the running of their busy dance studio, Dance House.

The organisation’s authority is reflected through the confident use of a clean typographic monogram and wordmark which all support official communications. These cleverly use roman and italic typestyles to express dynamism. The wider brand system includes guides on content, visual branding devices and communications templates. These were supplied as a toolkit to enable the in-house team to work independently and efficiently — empowering Dance Ireland to help shape a vibrant, sustainable future for dance.
