This notebook was intended as a leave-behind for a series of design-based workshops in secondary schools. The client requested a notebook that would encourage design-led thinking across a variety of disciplines.
We devised a four-stage design process model that would become the central organising principal of this colourful 400 page notebook. Students were encouraged to use the notebook as a tool to look, explore, create and relook. To Iterate and to Fill pages. It was not about Eureka moments, it was about method, creativity and most importantly hard work. For further learning, references and a number of alternative design process models were included in the back of the notebook.
