With the pandemic bringing uncertainty for live events we worked with DDF to minimize the potential impact it could have on the festival. We helped DDF launch a festival of two editions; summer, two weeks of daring dance delivered online and winter, a live, in venue event.

Our core strategy was to create a cohesive design system that could be delivered for the summer edition and be updated with minimum resources and time for the winter edition.

The direction we developed is a graphic window into the world of dance. Seasonal colour was key to separating and connecting the two editions, along with a treatment style for content that gave a sense of their core differences.
