Foróige is Ireland's largest youth organisation. Active since 1952, they work with over 50,000 young people across 26 counties each year. As a large organisation with multiple Clubs, programmes and events at any given time, Foróige commissioned us to create a robust identity system to manage this complexity, as well as a new, contemporary and easy to navigate website.
Challenged with creating a new brand system that incorporates the existing logo, we created a system of sheared and tilted patterns, iconography, photography, and motion all at a 20° angle. This provides the identity its distinctive look and feel that can be easily applied by individual youth clubs and the Foróige in-house design team. This identity system also provided the foundation for user experience and interaction throughout the redesigned website.
This design-led project resulted in a fully integrated identity solution to Foróige’s communications needs. Together with the updated vibrant colour palette, our new visual language allows for playful pattern combinations expressing the coming together of young people from all cultures and backgrounds in Ireland.
