International Centre for the Image

Launched in June 2025, the International Centre for the Image is a new museum dedicated to contemporary photographic and image-based art practices run by PhotoIreland. The Centre is conceptually as well as architecturally arranged around four interlocking core areas of arts practice: Research (Art Library and Archive), Production (Workshop and Artist Studios), Exhibition, and Storage and Conservation.

The identity was commissioned to Dutch studio Vandejong, developed by the PhotoIreland team in collaboration with Floris van Driel, Cyril van Sterkenburg, Youri Spaaij, and Joline van Berkestijn, and later expanded and applied by Ángel Luis González Fernández and Angie Hogan.
