Irish Refugee Council – Strategic Plan 2025–2028

We worked with the Irish Refugee Council to design its Strategic Plan 2025–2028, translating a values-led and people-centred strategy into a clear, confident and practical publication. The aim was to support accessibility while reinforcing the organisation’s authority and advocacy role.

We developed a structured visual approach built around strong typography and clear hierarchy, helping readers navigate complex content and quickly identify priorities. A limited but expressive colour palette creates contrast and emphasis, while consistent grids and generous spacing support clarity and ease of reading throughout the document.

Photography plays a central role in the design, grounding the strategy in lived experience and real-world action.  Positive and inclusive images are used deliberately to reinforce the organisation’s focus on empowering and centring refugees, rather than as decorative elements.

Together, the design choices create a document that is accessible, usable and authoritative. The final report balances urgency with care, supporting the strategy’s ambition while remaining rooted in the experiences of the communities it exists to serve.
