King Arthur Semi Opera

A poster design and identity for a production of King Arthur in collaboration with the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. The identity highlights what makes this modern take on Henry Purcell's semi-opera different from previous productions by hinting at its setting in a semi-industrial, bleak climate and by taking inspiration from the found materials of the set design. The identity uses photographed pieces of stone, twigs, driftwood, metal screws, nails, chain and clay to tell the love story between King Arthur and the kidnapped Princess Emmeline.
