It is the global leader in high-performance insulation and building envelopes. Kingspan differentiates itself through its relentless development of innovative and patent-protected proprietary technology.
Kingspan commissioned us to design their annual report – a critical piece of communications for their investors. They had spent years producing very functional documents and now it was time to move these reports into a space where it delivered brand messaging and success stories to make it a strong part of the marketing mix as well as a financial obligation.
In our briefing with CEO, Gene Murtagh, we learned that Kingspan is driven by good design and innovation. We needed to reflect this in our design approach along with one of the critical pillars of globalisation that Kingspan wanted to highlight – their people. This year the report allows the Kingspan team to speak for themselves, From Brian Glancy, Head of BIM Strategy based in Toronto, Canada to Bianca Wong, Divisional Sustainability Manager based in Melbourne, Australia - the global scale of Kingspan is represented with a human theme. Each hero shot is supported with the cutting edge innovations they are involved in.
Interspersed among the portraiture are the architectural shots of buildings using Kingspan products - to give a sense of how Global their operation is. These images are all tied together with the use of a bright fluorescent orange which complements the Kingspan colour palette of blues and teals and reflects the group's innovative approach to business.
