Lankum

Promotional materials and merchandise created for contemporary Irish folk group Lankum during 2020. Posters were designed for their ultimately cancelled U.S. and European tours, as well as for ‘A National Disgrace’, the band’s historical performance at the Abbey Theatre, live-streamed to a worldwide audience in August. ‘Stories of the Songs’ is a publication, gathering texts by the band that explore the historical origins, social contexts and musical evolution of traditional songs featured on their album ‘The Livelong Day’. It is printed in two colours, black and a metallic copper, and bound with black staples.
