Limerick School of Art & Design Website

The LSAD Graduate Website is more than a static showcase of final year work. It is designed as both an exhibition and a living archive, capturing the creative energy of Limerick School of Art & Design and reflecting the school’s role within the city’s wider cultural and educational landscape. The design places student work at its centre, using layered compositions, confident typography and a vibrant colour palette to express the diversity and ambition of the school’s creative output.

Functionality was integral to the concept. A student-led upload system allows graduates to publish their own portfolios directly to the site, ensuring consistency each year while significantly reducing administrative overhead for staff. Built for longevity, the platform seamlessly integrates new graduate work while preserving and re-presenting projects dating back to 2016.

More than a graduate showcase, the website acts as a professional launchpad and point of connection for students, alumni and future applicants. By restoring and re-indexing historic projects into a unified design system, past graduates are given renewed visibility and the school’s creative history can be experienced through a contemporary lens.

Alongside this archive, the site includes a dedicated space for a curated selection of alumni whose work reflects the calibre of LSAD’s creative community. Rather than acting as a directory, this section highlights meaningful creative trajectories – showing how student practice develops into professional work, industry connections and sustained careers. In doing so, the platform strengthens LSAD’s digital presence, supports creative exchange, and contributes to the ongoing cultural identity of the school and the city of Limerick.

To support the launch, we developed a social media campaign that translated the movement, energy and compositional logic of the website into a flexible design system for social – extending the identity beyond the site and creating a cohesive, recognisable presence across channels.
