PATH was commissioned by Music Generation to redesign their visual identity and website to better reflect the organisation as it is today.
Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme that seeks to transform the lives of children and young people through access to high quality music tuition in their locality.
With a 10-year journey to draw from and document, the goal of the new website was to articulate and demonstrate Music Generation’s overarching national vision and impact. The was achieved by collating examples of the diverse work happening at local level, synthesising them into stories and case studies that convey and exemplify the national agenda, thus creating a vibrant, meaningful picture of what they do and why it’s important.
With visual and content design informed by their overarching strategy, the website communicates a shift from operations to communicating the impact the programme has on the lives of children and young people.
The visual identity was re-designed to be more accessible and more adaptable for use, incorporating an identity toolkit that is designed to be easily implemented by each of the local partners.
