Among the Winterlights installations this year, was a customised tribute to Oscar Wilde in celebration of his creativity. A poem written by Wilde, titled 'From Spring Days', was projected onto the famous Poets' sculpture along the trail in Merrion Square Park .

We were asked to design the projection for this piece, choosing a cursive typeface to echo the poets handwriting and give the feeling of a more intimate and magical visualisation of the poem. A supportive green carnation flower, famously worn by Wilde and his friends at an event to acknowledge their sexuality, anchors the literary projection and recognises the courageous act that represents not only Wilde but the LGBTQ+ community as a whole.
