Paddy Reilly's, a Swiss-based Irish pub looked to revitalize their brand alongside the interior transformation of their flagship Zurich location. Our task was to refresh their visual identity while designing a cohesive range of collateral and merchandise. A key objective was to draw on established iconography while avoiding cliché to develop a more visually coherent and modern brand.  

This rebrand spanned across various communication channels, including branding, signage, wayfinding, social media, collateral, and merchandising. The new brand identity is anchored by an emblem featuring an intertwined shamrock and edelweiss, symbolizing the national plants of Ireland and Switzerland, and serving as a visual fusion of the two cultures. The full logo incorporates the emblem alongside the brand name, set in a bold flared serif font that evokes the timeless, traditional character associated with Irish pubs. The accompanying tagline, "Irish Charm, Swiss Spirit," emphasizes the blend of Irish hospitality’s warmth and the Swiss joie de vivre.

Branded apparel was designed with oversized graphic elements derived from the new logo, appealing to a fashion-conscious, urban clientele who frequent the pub, alongside its extensive tourist customer base.

The rebrand thoughtfully balances tradition and modernity, creating a cohesive identity that appeals to both Irish pub enthusiasts and a broader international audience.
