Plugged Live Shows is an experiential studio that creates custom-made live shows. They give rare moments the attention they deserve. In 2021, Plugged Live Shows saw the necessity to evolve the brand and give its identity the same attention they do to its live shows. We deep-dived into the brand to update the mission statement, improve the brand identity and position the brand as a leader within the live show industry. 

It was clear that the design solution needed to be grounded in a strategic proposition that would highlight the experiences that Plugged Live Shows can offer, whilst staying close to the ambitious vision of the brand. Empowering the aspects of show-making and the contrasting solutions for the different markets: corporate, brands, and public. 

We went on to create a design system for the brand to operate – including a diverse new colour palette, custom typography, bespoke elements, and curated motion design. All the while conveying its unique style and editorial characteristics “High Fashion meets underground Berlin”.

The brand elements are based on the organic flow of storytelling, materials used in show, design, costumes, and an inspiration source for Plugged Live Shows. They represent the look and feel of the concepts as well as the core values of the brand. Every element has a storytelling background that hits its mark. The Bullseye, The Eye, The DNA, Creation and Voyager 1 element. 

A new website was created in partnership with digital studio Exoape, to convey a digital emotive experience for the viewer and gives prospective clients everything they need in a user-friendly interface. The main page is the show page where every show is an experience of its own as if you were at a live show. With custom colour schemes per showcase and a variety of the most aesthetic key visuals.

A contemporary wayfinding system and guidelines have also been devised for the brand.

It is multi-functional, modular and prioritises a sustainable approach to design.
