Qualifax is a comprehensive database of up to 15,000 courses to help students, jobseekers, parents, guidance professionals and graduates explore their education and training options. This informative tool is designed to help the user discover new educational paths. In 2023, recognising the need to better align with their value and convey a feeling of possibility to their audience, the client decided it was time to develop a new identity.

 

Focusing primarily on young individuals searching for their first college courses, we identified the necessity to transition Qualifax's brand from its previously dated image to a smoother, more exciting, and dynamic identity. Through collaborative efforts with the client, a new logo and tagline were developed, aiming to strike a playful and forward-moving tone while preserving the professionalism associated with Qualifax. Segments of the logo were further refined into graphic shapes that would appear in the various print and digital outputs required by the client.

 

In collaboration with QQI and Annertech, we consulted on the redesign for the Qualifax’s website to reflect the energetic new brand. Considering that much of the audience interacts with the brand through the website while searching for college courses, our team strategically incorporated the brand's colours and graphics to create a more streamlined and inviting user experience.
