Robert Bourke Architects (RBA) is an award-winning Dublin practice that works on a diverse range of projects including homes, community buildings, and places for education and work. They celebrated ten years in business in 2020 and reaching that milestone prompted them to rethink how the practice should be perceived and how they might present themselves in terms of their visual identity.

Firstly we developed a brand strategy for RBA—positioning them as an architectural practice that is socially conscious, environmentally responsible, and timeless in its aesthetic. Gaining this clarity of thought has allowed them to concentrate on attracting the type of client they want to work with.

After ten years in business, the RBA identity was somewhat familiar to clients and the wider public, so it was decided that the existing single line logotype would be retained. We reset the type, adjusted kerning, and developed a stacked version for certain applications. We designed a new responsive website to present RBA’s award-winning work, and a book of selected projects was produced along with business cards, site signage, and office documentation.
