Royal Sites of Ireland is a cross-border cultural heritage initiative that brings together six ancient ceremonial landscapes across the island of Ireland, places of ritual, kingship and gathering deeply rooted in history and mythology. Positioned on Ireland’s UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage status, the project aims to support international recognition by making these sites’ stories and cultural significance accessible to communities, researchers and visitors.

For this programme we created a comprehensive brand, visual guidelines, custom typeface family and iconography to shape a distinct identity that could hold the collective narrative of these sites while respecting their individual characters. We also collaborated with Invisible Thread to deliver a rich website that archives the material and presents it in an engaging, accessible way across screens and print. We delivered a rich, accessible website to archive and present the material, with video content by Invisible Thread integrated throughout. A suite of collateral supports outreach, interpretation and ongoing community engagement tied to the UNESCO nomination process.
