Skellig Dark Sky Reserve

Inspired by the UNESCO heritage site at the point where the stars meet the sea, Skellig Dark Sky Reserve is an exclusive limited edition release of exceptional 23 year old single malt whiskey. It was distilled at the turn of the century and Atlantic Aged under the stars that have guided kings, travellers, merchants and commerce on their progress for centuries along the Western coast of Ireland onwards to America, Europe and Asia.

This fine whiskey is housed in a solid hand-crafted oak presentation box. Contained within are Valentia slate coasters cut from our local quarry, and a companion booklet sharing the liquid’s story and tasting notes. The copper decorations on the closure and front of the bottle pay tribute to our spiritual home of the Skelligs, and the intricately foiled labels are reminiscent of the starlit night sky, while echoing the motif of the 618 steps that lead up to the ancient monastery atop Skellig Michael.
