“Get ready to embark on a cinematic odyssey across the cosmos as Light House and Pálás launch STARGAZERS: A Summer Sci-Fi Spectacular, where imagination knows no bounds.”
Light House Cinema Group hosted a collection of time and space-bending films in August 2023 as part of their summer sci-fi season within their Dublin and Galway cinemas. Showcasing films such as Stanley Kubrick’s groundbreaking masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey, Jonathan Glazer's enigmatic Under the Skin, John Carpenter’s cult classic They Live, along with Forbidden Planet, Mars Attacks and more – all thought-provoking explorations of humanity and otherworldly, surreal encounters.
We wanted to celebrate this rich collection through an illustrated campaign inspired by pulp and retro sci-fi posters. Our Illustration is of a Mars-like landscape depicting characters and moments from the screened films. Teamed with impactful typography and animations, we launched the season with a teaser reel that reflected the period. From there, the full campaign was designed and showcased posters, print and web banners, holding cards and social assets.
