Summer Solstice - Ambient Orbit

Ambient Orbit is a RTÉ lyric fm series that explores ambient music, sound art, and field recording through a distinctly Irish lens. Often broadcast from meaningful landscapes and cultural sites, the programme blends live performance, environmental sound, and slow, meditative composition to create listening experiences that are rooted in place, season, and atmosphere.

The Summer Solstice event, broadcast live from Eyeries Town Hall, is reflected visually through a calm, restrained design system that mirrors the ethos of the programme itself. Earth-toned colour palettes, soft typographic contrasts, and expansive landscape photography evoke the coastal environment of West Cork.
