Formerly the Holiday Inn on Muckross Road, Killarney, rebranded with a new name and visual identity.

Situated near The National Park in nearby Aghadoe, Parkavonear Castle (from the Irish paírc an mhóinéir/field of the meadows) is an ancient Norman stone ruin from which the new name of Parkavon was conceived.

The identity is primarily type-led with the visual language conveying a more contemporary and casual style. As this hotel is mostly used as a base for staying and sleeping whilst exploring all that Killarney has to offer, this became the basis for the graphic elements using topographical map lines and natural colours that reflect the surrounding landscapes and environs. A hand drawn font is introduced to keep it charming and welcoming while an accompanying stamp with the words Explore Relax Enjoy further communicate this sentiment. Items such as menus carry the natural, theme with hand-crafted boards made of local wood, the logo heavily engraved on the back, with recycled papers and sustainable materials sourced for signage and other components of the identity.

Works included implementation of the new identity across all print, menus, social media, advertising and signage.
