The Spring Gala is Kaufman Music Center’s premier annual fundraising event, supporting its music education and concert programming. As a high-profile evening for trustees and patrons, the gala requires a bespoke visual identity distinct from the core branding of the Center.

The 2025 gala honoured Sean Hartley, Director of Theatre for over 35 years, with a Broadway-inspired theme. The design references the lights and signage of an evening performance through the use of angled typography and a controlled colour palette. These interventions convey the movement and energy of a Broadway show while maintaining a level of refinement appropriate to the occasion.

Created in close collaboration with the Development Team, the identity extended across environmental design, invitations, programmes, tickets, signage, and branded materials. The final system balances excitement and elegance, reinforcing the gala’s role as a prestigious fundraising event.
