The Things We Carry

The Things We Carry is a poster project created for Thibaud Goarin’s short thriller, featuring one of Michael Madsen’s final performances. Working closely with Thibaud, who is based in Los Angeles, we wanted to create a classic movie poster, something cinematic and emotionally weighted.

The project includes a main poster, a set of early drafts that explore tone and composition, and an alternative art-house style poster. Depending on the screening context or location, either the main or alternative version could be used.

The film was selected for HollyShorts, an Academy Awards–qualifying short film festival known for premiering work that sits at the intersection of strong storytelling and high production craft.
