Hailing from Wexford, the folks over at Pixelpod give us their reccomendations of the top things to do this May. Now that we're on the brink of summer, we'll definitely be making a trip to check out these local reccomendations!

D'lush is in Wexford Town ( about 70ft from our studio!) we think it has the best coffee and breakfasts in town. Healthy(ish) frys with homemade brown bread or some pancakes and fresh berries.

We love Mi Street Food because it's fresh, tasty and authentic Asian food.

Simon Lambert & Sons
Go for some good pub food and stay for their own brews of Ale, Larger, IPA. The Citra Pale Ale is delicious but they have lots to choose from.

Kilkenny Cats Laughs - Kilkenny City
This is the 25th year of the Kilkenny Cats laughs and it always has a brilliant line up of Irish and international talent.

Jest Fest - Wexford Town
2nd- 5th May
JestFest returns to Wexford this May Bank Holiday weekend – it’s the comedy festival where you can see your favourite comedians doing their thing in intimate, atmospheric venues all over town.

Open Grad Show
Visual Communication students have their Degree show.
May 23rd, 6.30pm IT Carlow Wexford Campus

The Creative Voyage Podcast - check out for some great advice and insight to live and work of designers.

Joe Rogan - It's funny, insightful and random.

Gil Scott-Heron: American signer, poet and author - awesome music- and it's his anniversary the end of the month.

Dark Rooms: they created the theme song for the film A Ghost Story.

Ocelots: Wexford brothers - great harmonies.
As they say themselves: "With just a guitar, a harmonica and their voices, they have created a raw sound that has been generated from years of street performing around Europe."

If you run then Wexford has some beautiful routes! Here are our top three:
Curracloe Beach
Raven Point Wood
Johnstown Castle
