Birdboy

Birdboy is a show about a boy who wished he was a bird. He wished he could just fly away and be free. In this boys whirring mind, thoughts, worries, fantasies all compete for space in a world he doesn't fit in to.

The illustration shows us the staging of the play (with a car, and boy in a dark room). The boy stands atop the car. His eyes point longingly to the sky. His wings sit patiently by his side, in the hope that one day he can fly. Above his thoughts floats up in the shape of a floating bag.
