Every year IAPI [Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland] produces a census that highlights the ebb, flow, trends and movements of their industry. While the information collected is objective and statistical in nature, IAPI’s role within a creative industry meant that the presentation should be unexpected, vibrant and insightful.
Our concept was to use the statistics themselves as the starting point for developing a series of illustrations that brought them to life and made sense of their human impact. These were used alongside simpler charts and graphs to highlight important messages. A digital summary was produced, further bringing the key facts to life with simple animation and interaction.
