In The Meadows

In The Meadows is a one day summer festival held in the grounds of Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin. The line-up consisted of mostly contemporary folk musicians. I created a poster to promote the festival inspired by both the music and location. The main image shows a scene of the venue and surrounding parks. It is encircled by a shape that could be interpreted as a stage, a setting sun, or a gate. The border features icons of flora and fauna found in meadows. The colour scheme is bright and fun representing the vibe of a summer festival.
