Twenty Fifty was a digital performance created for the Fringe Theatre Festival in Dublin. It was a live improvised game between an actor and an invited guest.
Attendees were gathered digitally. They were requested to be fully engaged and willing to participate. At the time an online theatre production was a relatively new concept to most. It was important to indicate the digital aspect and how it would work. Images were presented as if part of a zoom screen. Icons such as computers, microphones, and dice were created to explain the concept. The typography and colours used were a reference to the digital world. Short animations were created as a teaser for the show and also to explain the audience's involvement.
